How a job runs
Nothing here is picked out of a catalog. A job starts on a drawing board and ends as steel somebody leans on, and the same shop does every step in between.
Drafting
Every job is drawn before anything is cut. Drafting is one of the four things this shop has done in-house since 1971, alongside welding, designing and fabricating, and it is why a curve arrives on site at the radius the building actually needs rather than the one that was easy to roll.
The shop floor
Plate is rolled to the radius, brackets are tacked along the run, and the whole assembly is stood up and checked in the bay before it leaves. Curved and spiral staircases are the work this shop is known for, and they are built here rather than ordered in.
Finish
Aluminum, stainless, galvanized, powder-coated steel or wrought iron. The metal is chosen for where the piece lives and what it has to carry, not for what is quickest to buy, and the finish follows the metal.
Installed
Monumental stairs and long handrail runs in buildings and schools around Montgomery County, cable rail on a mezzanine, a grab-bar where somebody needs one. Every set of stairs and every custom fabricated product carries a free one year parts and labor warranty.
